About the Band

Harrison Highlanders Pipe Band is a community pipe band based in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, with members drawn from areas including Maple Ridge, Mission, Chilliwack, Harrison Hot Springs and Agassiz. The band is active in parades, community events and commemorative performances throughout the region.

The band wears Modern Wallace tartan and is a member of the British Columbia Pipers’ Association. Its focus is strongly community-based: welcoming new members, supporting learners, and helping pipers and drummers develop wherever they are on the musical ladder, from “what end does this chanter go?” to contest-ready playing.

Harrison Highlanders has also stepped into the competition scene, with recent material showing the band competing in Grade 5 at BCPA events, including the 2026 BCPA Annual Gathering.
