Wake & District Pipes & Drums, also known as Wake and District Public Safety Pipes and Drums, is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The band was founded in 2006 with a mission to honour fallen public safety personnel and support their families, friends and colleagues through traditional pipe band music.

The band has close links with police, fire, emergency services and other public safety organisations across Raleigh, Wake County and wider North Carolina. It performs at memorial services, graduations, promotions, parades, festivals and community events, while also maintaining a competitive pipe band programme.

Today, Wake & District continues to combine service, remembrance, community performance and competition, preserving Scottish piping and drumming traditions while representing the public safety community in North Carolina.
