Belgian Blend Pipe Band is based in Wilrijk, Antwerp, Belgium, and is a Grade 3 competition pipe band associated with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. The band developed from the Antwerp & District Pipe Band’s former Grade 4 “B band”, which was created in 1988 to help improve the standard of developing players. That group later became Belgian Blend Pipe Band.

The band operates as Belgian Blend Pipe Band v.z.w. and is listed as having been founded as an association in January 1995. It competes in Belgium and abroad, while also performing at parades, festivals, fairs, weddings and private events in formats ranging from solo piper to full band.

Today, Belgian Blend continues to promote Scottish piping and drumming in Belgium through competition, public performance and player development, representing one of the active pipe band organisations in the Antwerp area.
