About the Band

Kenmore & District Pipe Band is based in the Kenmore and Everett area of Washington State, USA. The band was formed in 2001, when a group of people with a shared interest in Scottish piping and drumming came together to perform and promote the music locally.

Since then, the band has grown into a community and competition organisation, welcoming members of different ages, abilities and experience levels. It performs at public events, parades, Highland games and private engagements, while also supporting learner development.

The band’s motto, “Chorus unum sonus”, meaning “many voices, one sound”, reflects its community approach. Today, Kenmore & District Pipe Band continues to promote Highland piping and drumming in the Pacific Northwest through performance, teaching and competition.
