Kooperationsband Essern/Alba/Owl Town Pipe Band is a German collaborative competition band formed from three Lower Saxony pipe band organisations: The Owl Town Pipe and Drum Band from Peine, Alba Pipe Band e.V. from Hildesheim, and The Essern Highlanders Pipe Band e.V. from Essern. The project is also promoted under the name Highland Owls of Alba.

The cooperation was created to support musical development across higher grades, especially Grade 3, while also giving beginner-grade players a pathway through Grade 5. It reflects a practical approach often seen in mainland European pipe banding, where regional bands combine players and resources to build stronger competition groups.

The band has competed at German pipe band events, including Grade 4A and open grade contests, with results recorded at Peine and indoor competitions. Today, Kooperationsband Essern/Alba/Owl Town represents a shared development project for piping and drumming in Lower Saxony, focused on competition, training and long-term growth.
