About the Band

Tamworth & District Highland Society Pipe Band is based in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia. The band has a history dating back more than 100 years and continues to represent the Tamworth region through Scottish piping and drumming.

The band is community focused, performing at local and regional events while also teaching traditional Scottish music. Regular appearances include the Tamworth Country Music Festival Parade, Liverpool Plains Military Tattoo, ANZAC Day, Aberdeen Highland Games and community fairs.

Today, Tamworth & District Highland Society Pipe Band continues to keep Scottish culture active in northern New South Wales through public performance, tuition and community involvement.
