Hawke’s Bay Caledonian Pipe Band is a New Zealand pipe band based in the Hawke’s Bay region. The band was created through the rebranding of the former City of Hastings Pipe Band in late 2018, giving the organisation a new name, identity and direction. The Royal New Zealand Pipe Bands’ Association describes this as part of a rebuilding process aimed at attracting both younger learners and experienced pipers and drummers.

The band wears Modern Campbell of Argyll tartan and uses the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders cap badge, giving it a clear Highland identity within the New Zealand pipe band scene.

Although the current Hawke’s Bay Caledonian name is relatively recent, the area has a deeper pipe band tradition, including earlier Hawke’s Bay and Hastings bands active in competitions and local events. Public material from the band shows it maintaining community duties, including regular parade and remembrance appearances.
