City of Sacramento Pipe Band is based in Sacramento, California, and has shared Scottish piping and drumming traditions with the local community since 1989. The band was formed by Liz Tubbs and the late Clutch Sutton, and developed as a non-profit educational organisation for pipers and drummers of all ages and playing levels.

The band performs at community events, parades, festivals, weddings, memorials and private functions, while also supporting competition and player development. It is active in the Western United States Pipe Band Association’s Northern Branch and continues to offer instruction for new and experienced musicians.

Today, City of Sacramento Pipe Band remains an important part of Northern California’s Scottish music scene, combining public performance, education, competition and community service.
