he Wasatch & District Pipe Band is based in Bountiful, Utah, and was established in 2004. It is a competitive and performing pipe band organisation wearing the MacTavish tartan, with activity across concerts, parades, Highland games, and pipe band contests.

The band has grown into one of the largest pipe band organisations in Utah, with more than 100 rostered members split across several competing groups and development levels. This structure allows players to progress from learning and lower-grade competition through to its higher-level bands.

Wasatch & District has fielded bands in Grades 5, 4, 3, 2, and Juvenile, making it a major force in the Western United States Pipe Band Association scene. Pipe Band Rankings records list multiple active Wasatch & District bands, all based in Bountiful and founded in 2004.

Its Grade 2 band has helped raise the profile of Utah piping and drumming, with Pipes|Drums noting Wasatch among the highest-graded bands from the western US region. Today, Wasatch & District remains both a teaching pipeline and a serious competition outfit: Utah-built Highland horsepower with plenty of drone pressure in the tank.
